      Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers

      Saturday, July 20th from 9am - 1:30pm

Daughters of narcissist mothers experience a unique form of abuse because of the primal relationship between parent and child. When the primal nurturing of child development is interrupted by narcissistic behaviors, it can lead to trauma, C-PTSD (Complex PTSD), depression and severely damaged self-esteem. As a result, we can come to the conclusion that the world is not safe and that we have very little chance to live a healthy life. In order to heal, we must fully understand how we came to this place of insecurity, loneliness, codependency and powerlessness. This workshop will lead us to discover a realm of compassion, forgiveness and self-love by learning the tools required to navigate this often difficult and confusing relationship and how we can heal ourselves and understand our mothers and the dance we’ve been dancing with them as we’ve grown. The intense nature of the subject matter is tempered with gentleness, humor, calming tools and treats. Note: This is an intermediate level workshop. Attending our TWO-DAY Healing from Narcissistic Abuse Workshop is recommended before taking this workshop unless you have a clear and thorough understanding of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. We will be holding the two-day workshop again on Saturday, August 3 and Saturday, August 10. Then we will schedule another Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers workshop after that. Through a combination of lessons, group discussions, guided meditations, confidence-building exercises, deep narcissistic examination and self-soothing practices, we learn about:

      • Finding our Voice (and feeling heard)
      • The Narcissistic Mother
      • Navigating confrontations in a healthy, authentic way without guilt or anxiety
      • Self-love and Self-soothing Practices
      • Identifying codependent, people-pleasing red flags in ourselves
      • Protection, Tools and Navigating upcoming storms with Mindfulness
      • Establishing Healthy, Lasting Boundaries with Cluster B Personality Types
      • Establishing Healthy, Lasting Boundaries with Cluster B Personality Types
      • Raising our Vibrational Energy to Attract Healthy Relationships
      • The Art of Forgiveness and Finding Peace in the Midst of Chaos

Please enjoy a healthy breakfast before arriving as we will not be breaking for lunch. We will have a mid-morning snack break – snacks will be provided. Students will take home numerous handouts and reading materials. Please bring a notebook. Feel free to wear your most comfortable clothing and bring a cushion, pillow or blanket. *** SPACE IS LIMITED ***
