is the simple and direct practice
of observing one’s experience.
This gathering will include meditation instruction and guided meditation, a brief talk on the philosophy of practice, and question/answer. This meetup is open to all levels and especially helpful if you are new to the practice.
We will start promptly at 7:00 pm so arrive a bit earlier to get settled. If you are new, feel free to come earlier for instruction and to have any questions answered.
Take off your shoes and leave them on the deck. Door will be open, just come in take a seat on a cushion or chair.
Please try and be on time and if you’re late, come in quietly. Chairs and cushions available. This practice derives from Buddhist traditions but no special religious beliefs are necessary.
There is no fee for joining hearts and minds with us in meditation, only a willingness to bring kindness to each moment of one’s experience. There is a bowl for donations to help support this class and teacher.
This class is led by Kelli Cotner an experienced Vipassana practitioner and passionate Dharma student.
