Come explore the transformational power of mindfulness and learn mind-body strategies to manage the stress of daily living
Experience mindfulness through various guided meditations, gentle movement practice, writing reflections, sharing and discussions. By learning to attend to our experience in an open, curious and friendly manner, it helps us see habitual patterns and reactions that often cause unnecessary stress and anxiety.
Mindfulness is a means of tapping into and reclaiming our natural goodness and innate wisdom. Through practice a deepening awareness develops that strengthens our ability to truly enjoy our lives with more ease and to cope with the difficulties that inevitably arise.
This workshop is based on the MBSR or Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program taught at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at U Mass Medical School.
ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. Please bring a sack lunch. We will provide water & light snacks. Chairs & cushions available though if you have your own cushion, please bring it. *** SPACE IS LIMITED ***
