Learn the basics of mindfulness meditation through guided practice, mindfulness exercises, and group discussion. By learning to attend to our experience in an open, curious and friendly manner, it helps us see habitual patterns and reactions that often cause unnecessary stress and anxiety.
Mindfulness is a means of tapping into and reclaiming our natural goodness and innate wisdom. Through practice a deepening awareness develops that strengthens our ability to truly enjoy our lives with more ease and to cope with the difficulties that inevitably arise.
We will be practicing using chairs. If you have your own meditation cushion, please feel free to bring it.
