Our world presents us with a constant influx of stimuli and distractions, which makes it increasingly difficult to be still and quiet with ourselves and experience the vastness and richness of our own inner experience.
Yin yoga is a quiet, receptive practice in which floor-bound poses are held for long periods of time. Its benefits include increased range of motion in the joints and connective tissues, cultivating mindfulness, regulating the nervous system, and unraveling habitual patterns of tension. More than anything, yin yoga is a simple yet powerful way to come home
After a grueling news year, and before the bustle of the holidays, give yourself the gift of pausing to exhale and reconnect to yourself, in a warm, compassionate environment. Learn to find refuge in your own inner experience, honor your own humanity, and trust your own deep inner wisdom.
The practice of yin is accessible to everyone,
no previous yoga experience is necessary.
This 4-hour workshop will include discussion, yin yoga instruction and practice, and self-reflection. There will be a 30-minute break for lunch: please bring a bag lunch (fruit and tea will be served.) Take a stroll on the glorious Dharma Ranch grounds and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Hill Country.
WORKSHOP COST: $45
