Rates and Policies

Thank you for your interest in offering a program at Dharma Ranch! Please read over the following information carefully and feel free to contact or call us at 512-906-9660 for assistance.

RENTAL RATES:
The rates below are for YURT RENTAL only. This includes everything BUT the Main House.
Renter is responsible for supplying coffee, tea, snacks and food. Dharma Ranch will supply coffee and tea pot, cups and bowls.

Set up area is on the back yurt deck weather permitting. Food and drinks, other than water are not allowed in yurt.

For one-time use, the rate is: $35.00 per hour with a 2-hour minimum
Half Day (4 hours) $125.00
Full Day (8 hours) $225.00

For on-going classes (6 consecutive weeks minimum), please contact use for rates.

Yurt and Main House w/full kitchen. Includes coffee, tea, lights snacks.
For one-time use, the rate is: $50.00 per hour with a 2-hour minimum
Half Day (4 hours) $225.00
Full Day (8 hours) $350.00

DEPOSITS:
Day long workshop renters must pay 25% deposit of the total rental amount at the time of signing the contract. Once we receive your signed contract and your deposit, your rental is confirmed. The final payment is due upon your arrival day. Payments can be made by check & cash, or you can pay by credit card/paypal.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
This initial 25% deposit is your holding fee and is non-refundable and non-transferable if event is cancelled within 30 days of the scheduled date. A full refund minus $20.00 admin fee will be returned if cancelled 30 days prior.

RENTAL POLICIES:
We ask that your group participants observe the following; Any damages or losses to the facility, its furniture or equipment, or surrounding property, beyond normal wear and tear, will be the responsibility of the renter and shall be compensated for by the end of the rental period.

Dharma Ranch does not take responsibility for any lost or stolen property. We do not take responsibility for any injuries, or medical emergencies that happen in or around our center.

We are drug free retreat center. Smoking is not allowed except in designated area. Minimal responsible drinking is allowed in rental accommodations only. Illegal drugs and coming onto the property intoxicated or under the influence are prohibited.

We love animals but please leave pets at home.

No campfires. The use of the fire pit will be determined whether burn ban is on or off. Fire pit must be attended and supervised by staff and/or presenter.

Some of our participants may be environmentally sensitive, please refrain from using strong fragrances, scented candles or incense if possible.

FOOD:
At this time, we do not provide lunch. Please have your participants bring a bag lunch and/or allow time for people to drive into San Marcos to eat. Keep in mind travel time is 10 minutes each way. For those using all of our facilities, we do provide coffee, tea and snacks like fruit, nuts and cookies.

KITCHEN:
Presenters renting the Main House may use kitchen for cooking and catering. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Kitchen is always open and participants may use refrigerator and microwave at any time.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
We have a restored and remodeled Airstream and a Tiny House for rent at a discounted rate. RV hook up and limited camping also available. Please contact us for availability and rates. Please note: Accommodations for presenters, co-presenters and teaching assistants must be made at the time of registration in order to secure availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RENTER:
To carry out all promotions and marketing. In order to assist your marketing efforts, we will list your program on our website with a detailed description and link to your website as soon as your dates are confirmed.
As the date of your program approaches, we will also post notices on our Facebook page and various social media outlets and promote it in our monthly newsletter.

Registration of participants and taking payments are presenters responsibility. Dharma Ranch can accept registrations and payments for presenter via our secure website for a small admin fee. Please inquire for more information.

Transportation to and from Dharma Ranch remains the responsibility of the organizers of the retreat. On occasion, we can provide transportation for an additional fee.
